You receive Benefit Plus points from Gen, which you can use for a variety of benefits. Each point has a value of €1.
Full-time team members (including those working on an employment contract) receive 950 points at the beginning of the year. Part-time team members receive a prorated number of points, based on the hours you work.
If you join Gen midyear, you will receive a prorated number of points for the time remaining in the year.
If you join Gen between the first and 15th day of the month, you are entitled to half that month’s allocation of points. If you are hired after the 15th day of the month, you are entitled to that month’s full allocation of points.
All Benefit Plus points must be used in the same year they are granted.
Health services
You can use your Benefit Plus points for dental care, pharmacy purchases, consultations with a psychologist, spa treatments, and massages.
Doplnkové dôchodkové sporenie (DDS)
Use Benefit Plus points to contribute to your pension insurance, also called DDS.
How to request contributions
After you choose a life insurance provider (Tatra Banka or NN) and sign a contract, you can set up your contribution amount on the Benefit Plus portal. You’ll need scanned images of your contract and payment details.
- Log in to the Benefit Plus portal.
- Go to e-shop and search for DDS.
- Enter the amount of your annual contribution and complete all other fields. The annual contribution will be allocated monthly for the remainder of the year. For example, if you enter 120 Benefit Plus points in April, the total election will be split equally across the remaining eight months at 15 points per month.
- Confirm your order in the basket.
Once you confirm the order, the number of points needed to cover your contributions through the end of the year will be reserved. Gen will start making your contributions a month later, with your payroll, if your contract is approved.
How to change or cancel your contribution

Other benefits
With your Benefit Plus points, you can pay for travel, cinema or theatre tickets, massages, squash court rentals, foreign language courses, your child’s school, and many other expenses.

When you leave Gen
If you leave the company between the first and 15th day of the month, you are entitled to half that month’s allocation of points. If you leave the company after the 15th day of the month, you are entitled to that month’s full allocation of points. You will forfeit the points for the remainder of the year.
